Thomas Geerling is the founder and artistic director of Studio Framework. He renovated his dilapidated house (in his own words) in Grachtenviertel as a personal project, and completed the project in less than a year. He and his wife always wanted to move to Amsterdam for the longest time, and with the help of his studio, they realized this dream.
这座房屋真实地保留了其19世纪的遗产，而其内部却拒绝遵循传统的对称性，使人们感到舒适，同时也可以环顾四周并提出问题。
This house truly pserves its 19th-century heritage, but its interior refuses to follow traditional symmetry, making people feel comfortable, while looking around and asking questions.

The self-taught dutch designer decided to devote himself to interior design after creating his first decor for a guest house.
