On the basis of these additions, designers choose natural textiles and light, soft color palette to highlight the natural environment of the home.

An informal waterfront residence that escapes from New York City and emphasizes leisure lifestyle and space. The Manhattan family is keen to maintain a modern and refined aesthetic. In the dining room, the wooden walls complement the nautical environment, in sharp contrast to the contemporary oak tables and medieval furniture brought from the clients New York home. The result is both a comfortable island setting and a stylish international style home.
