Located on the outskirts of Morelia, Michoacán, the UC Villa project is a house designed by Daniela Bucio Sistos. Its architectural design stems from people’s attention to creating a project with a certain spatial ambiguity between the interior and the exterior. And this can sometimes be difficult to detect. All internal spaces of the UC project are in direct contact with the micro-environment generated inside the house.

UC Villa has always been considered a movable house. Due to changes in texture and proportions, it has become a space far from the center of the eye, and more connected with the users sensory interaction, which is a contemplative space.

Daniela tried to create an almost monochromatic house, but full of textures, with different volumes of natural light incident, the project has a different personality throughout the day. The slender volume is laid out on the plane to create voids and terraces that rise above the sloping masonry wall.

The main passage is plugged at the end of a textured partition wall, which extends almost along the entire front of the house. When you enter and descend into the entrance ramp, you will find the main hall of the house. The center of the main hall is decorated with Tabachin and has a large raised dome. Two large circular openings can be seen on the side of the front hall, one in the library and the other on the other side of the terrace, connecting with the second bedroom. The rotunda is the guiding axis of the house, and it is symbolically used as the starting point for arranging the radial floor throughout the project. The plan includes 4 bedrooms, library, kitchen, dining room, terrace, living room and orchard.
该房屋仅通向一排柏树，该柏树在场地的背面通过连接客厅和花园的大坡道而发现。侧面和正面均封闭，以保护房屋的隐秘性。
The house only leads to a row of cypss trees, which are found at the back of the site through a large ramp connecting the living room and the garden. Both sides and front are closed to protect the privacy of the house.
