An offshoot of Moco Museum, renowned for its collection of digital and contemporary art, Moco concept store in the heart of Barcelona was conceived by the multidisciplinary studio Six n Five in collaboration with Isern Serra. The project looked to recreate and materialise a virtual space in the real world, inspired by Six n Five’s digital artwork the Living Room.

Elements characteristic of the metaverse and Six n Five’s own visual language are everywhere—organic shapes, curves and arches form a minimalist and surreal backdrop for exhibitions—where art is the protagonist.

Outside, the facade contrasts with its surroundings. An illuminated, pink and organic interior is framed by two contoured openings. In the store, recesses and niches indent the dynamic layout, layered with display and integrated lighting.

“The execution of this space has been carried out using techniques that can only be reproduced with good craftsmanship,” explain the collaborators. “We have gone back to our roots, starting from vernacular architecture to be able to reach such a level of detail and reproduce a digital world. In order to achieve this, we have had to build the medium. The tools to create the spokes and details have been created for the occasion.”

单色的调色板，完全由微水泥完成，参考了莫科博物馆的特征颜色。统一的材料作为一个聚光灯，将注意力集中在空间的独特形式和展示的产品上。

The monochromatic colour palette, finished entirely in micro cement, references the characteristic colour of Moco Museum. The uniform materiality acts as a spotlight, focusing attention on the space’s unique form and product on display.

The main wall has two large backlit openings with metal shelves for display. Two central passages link the space, with niches and offshoots offering screens with digital art, shelves for books, projections and continuations of the wall—all detailed in micro cement with rounded edges. The collaborators created versatile furniture with elements able to be combined in different ways and moved around the space.

从现实中抽身而出，踏入莫科。
